We have an entry level position within our Head Office in Stourbridge for an I.T savvy fashion lover to assist with the management of wholesale orders. The choses person must be a quick learner, have a can do attitude, show initiative and aptitude for taking on additional responsibilities.
Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for:
- Manage and administer all wholesale orders
- Manage and administer all customer purchase orders
- Importing new product skus into our inventory
- Raising new wholesale orders in our system
- Issuing purchase orders to suppliers confirming orders
- Collating order sheets confirming quantities, styles and fit
- Ordering barcode labels for all SKU’s and issuing to suppliers
- Updating and tracking orders with suppliers ensuring delivery dates are communicated to customers
- Receipting shipping samples and issuing to customers
- Working with Operations to advise on delivery dates and booking in via customer portals
- Producing weekly delivery plan
- Ensuring goods are booked in, arriving on time and ensuring operations have the necessary documentation to pick and pack customers orders
- Developing a new sample line sheet for future developments
Skills & Experience
- No prior experience is required in this particular area however experience in retail, fashion or merchandising operations would be advantageous
- Interest in fashion is a must as you’ll be surrounded by the latest fashionable denim pieces all day long
- Strong skills in word, excel and PowerPoint
- A desire to develop additional skills, take on additional responsibilities and define key wholesale processes
- Well organised and shows initiative
